Late March (the 28th) - OK, Getting nervous A quick call to CASA reveals that they still don’t know where it’s up to. Excellent A polite lady tells me that the security checks are done, but she’s not sure when it will be posted, but the target is to have pre-December applications out before the deadline. Better book a flight before 31st, cause I’m not sure when the next one after that will be.
Late March (the 30th) - Success! Well, it’s the morning of March 30th and there’s a knock at the door. Whoo hoo! - A delivery guy with a Platinum express super duper post pack from CASA licensing. I hug him, hoping desperately that he hasn’t recently seen “Broke back mountain” – No punches were thrown, I’m clear. No credit card charges registered as yet, so I’m tipping they were in such a rush to get them out it was a “Hang the expense” type affair. I’m sure the charge is forthcoming, but until then I’ll consider it compensation.
In two years my ASIC will expire, better start the application process………. |
