We try to help other organisations where we can, for example by hosting their forums, however, OziPilots Online is not controlled or influenced by any other organisation, government agency or individual(s) other than me, David Harakos.

I provide the bulk of the technical input and the content on the site, with the obvious exception of things like forum postings.

I'm a pilot, and an Australian one at that! I've got a huge interest in everything aviation and have been fortunate enough to have had experience dabbling in the hang gliding scene, soloing in a sailplane, PPL (NVFR etc.) in GA planes and CPL in helicopters.

I love flying, and I want to get as many other people as I can to share the pleasure of piloting. This is probably the most concise summary of my core motivation for this site.
