Precision Helicopters is a safe and efficient helicopter service in NSW that has been established since 1993. We expanded from our base at Barraba to a new permanent base at Coffs Harbour Airport in 2003.
We provide a premium service utilising low time aircraft and highly experienced pilots to ensure safe cost-effective operations.
We have five helicopters within the company with several different types to select from. Three of the helicopters are single engine turbine which is used for most of our aerial work operations, one single engine piston which is used for training and some light aerial work operations, and we now have a twin-engine turbine for those larger tasks. Our turbine aircraft are maintained at our own maintenance facility also in Coffs Harbour.
All aircraft are fitted with an external hook for sling loads and have their own fire bucket. Aircraft are fitted for all aerial application with DGPS. Our Jetranger based at Coffs Harbour has floats for over water flights. Precision is also able to supply a certified 15,000-litre fuel tanker for longer jobs.
We have qualified training instructors in our training school for you to obtain a Private or Commercial Helicopter Licence. Our instructors are also able to conduct endorsement training on Bell 206 Jet Ranger, Hughes 500 or BK-117.
