Hi Phill

Thanks for replying to my post. I was just wondering if I could ask you a few more questions about a career as a pilot and current prospects. Ive just started my cpl training and am doing year 12 subjects at school. Im pretty sure im going to do the mecir at the end of my cpl. Do you think that would be a good way to go. Some people, some pilots acyually have told me that with the mecir these days i would probably get a charter job as the first job and build up hours from there. Other people tell me that I wont even be able to wash the plane with my 250 hours, weather i have mecir or not. These same poeple recommend that I get an instructor rating and instruct for a few years first to get the hours up. Im leaning tothe charter first option, seems like a better career move to me and the instructor rating is 14 grand. Yours thought would be great.
