The AOPA website is down, Members are asking me what is going on, and today I notice a resignation from the most junior board member with an appointment of Chad Boot to replace him.

Chad appears to come with credentials from Seaplane Pilots and Cathay.

Hope springs eternal that they may get some "deadwood" to fall on their swords as well so the place has a chance to survive in spite of the obvious degredation of GA in hours correlating to gross over regulation.

When AOPA addresses it's grass roots "aircraft owners" and starts to look after them they may get an injection of enthusiasm, because the "pilot" fraternity are at odds with the simple fact of keeping costs to a minimum for the "owners" who let the "pilots" fly their aircraft.
