Yesterday I got to fly another hour of solo circuits, and I discovered something I absolutely hate.....flying someone else's circuits. That is, having to slow right down, or having to do a wide circuit because the person in front is doing what appears to be a scenic flight to Wollongong.
I have always been told to fly a tight circuit to remain in gliding distance to the airport, just in case. However, some of these schools appear to teach the opposite.
Has anyone else had similar experiences at either Bankstown or Camden, or am I just being a "whinger?"
