Bob, Only Cone Heads could calculate the outcome of an election this way.
Rational folk know that each member could vote for 4 candidates on one vote slip ( ballot) therefore the probable number of votes cast would be 400*1.25=500 as each member can only cast 1 vote (ballot) per the constitution.
You are right this sort of spin does nothing for credibility of AOPA or the cone head that wrote and signed the "press release" in a vain attempt to make himself a hero.
