AOPA Election 2006
(Date: 01/05/2006)

The results of the election are in.

The election was independently supervised by Elections Australia. 4
positions were declared vacant and five candidates nominated.

A total of 1672 votes were received, giving this result the largest
mandate in some years. Thank you members.

Those elected were:

1. Brian Hannan with 394 votes. 2. Bob Nash with 388 votes. 3. Peter
Ware with 354 votes. 4. Troy Green with 284 votes.

Not elected.

Mike Smith with 252 votes.

Again, thanks to the members who voted, an outstanding turnout. Now,
please register and attend the AGM to give your support to the important
new initiatives that will be happening there.
