It's with shock we hear of Ron's passing this week. All our thought go to his family in this horrid time in their lives.
The full grief of this accident can only be felt by his loving family and close friends, but all who knew him will miss him dearly, as will Aviation in this Country.
Others have quoted Gillespie Magee Jr. on slipping the surely bonds of earth, but John Denver wrote "On the Wings of a Dream saying

Yesterday I had a dream about dying
About laying to rest and then flying
About the moment at hand
Is the only thing we really own
And I lay in my bed and wonder
After all has been said and is done for
Why is it thus we are here
And so soon we are gone
